Recently a classmate of mine posted a thought provoking line on Facebook.. What’s life all about?!! And this post did its job.. made me wonder, ponder, even gave me a few sleepless nights.
What is life all about? Some work hard from dawn to dusk, some spend it crying over spilled milk, some give up love to gain comfort and some are just happy with bare minimum.. some call it learning, some call it a mistake, some call it living each day and some living for the future.. some spend each day with the past, some move on to live tomorrow. What is life really about..?!
I come from the Newari community of Nepal, In my mother tongue there are several words which have variety of meanings which changes based on the context. For instance ‘wa’ means rain and it means paddy, it means tooth and it also means come here… just like life. A beautiful sunshine, a gloomy grey, a glass half full, is it ever half empty? To each their own, such is what life is all about!!
