The biggest fear for mankind is not knowing tomorrow, not knowing the next moment, not knowing the future.. still plans are made, future is designed, with hopes and aspirations.
2020 taught us the worst is not that we don’t know the future.. it’s even worse to not be able to plan tomorrow. The hope for tomorrow is like a dim light which only some are able to see today.
Largest of enterprises shut its doors to thousands of employees, as did a small corner store which catered just the neighbourhood. While some struggled on quick sand trying to hold on to anything that can save them.
An invisible force came and took the world down on its knees. Didn’t see rich, nor the poor, didn’t see big or small. It didn’t discriminate.. it taught one and all the feeling of uncertainty…the feeling of not knowing, the feeling of not being able to plan, the feeling of hopelessness.
In this uncertain time… if we have a job that still pays, we should count our blessings.. if we have roof over our head and food to eat, count our blessings.. if we are wearing warm clothes in the cold, count our blessings.. if we are able to buy new things, count our blessings.. and most of all, if we are alive and still breathing, count our blessings! Let’s learn to be grateful..!
